wschurman.com has a new addition. I have been building and am now testing a URL shortener written in PHP/MySQL. Unfortunately, it is private for now, but the shortened URLs are public. (Link 1, Link 2, Link 3)

Hastily named wschurman.url, the service features a login panel, an admin panel, and a list view. The user is allowed to shorten URLs, store large chunks of text, and upload pictures. Currently the length of the shortened url is 25 characters (http://wschurman.com/XXXX). Unfortunately I didn’t have $40 to spare at the time that gno.me was available (so close to pressing buy, though).

I will be using this for all my future long links on Twitter and in this blog.
